Test Tube Dinosaurs is a Sydney-based band, fronted by singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist and founding member, Bertrand Russell Gilbert (herein BRG).

Under the mentorship of raconteur and veritable Renaissance man, Chris Martin Heidegger, the group has developed in a few short years from little more than a bedroom recording project to the going concern it is today.

Their debut EP, Mystery Bags, engineered and produced by Jason Whalley (Frenzal Rhomb), is due out in August through Tmesis Records.

The group is the subject of the documentary/concert film, Access All Areas: A Test Tube Dinosaurs Webcert Film, directed by Jane Champignon and soon to be released on YouTube.

So, what’s next for Test Tube Dinosaurs? “Well,” says BRG, “more songs, more videos, and a bit of light cleaning for my mentor, Chris.”
